If I went to high school with ya'll do you remember Kellie Parker? Her, her husband and her sweet 2 month old Ella need all the prayers they can get right now. Kellie took Ella to the pedi for her two month checkup yesterday and pointed out to the doctor some red spots she had on her skin. Turns out they were bleeding under the skin and further testing showed her platelets were very low so she was admitted to the hospital and transferred to St. Jude's in Memphis today.
According to my friend Rachel, who is in contact with Kellie, they saw the doctor this afternoon and they told her and Dustin to prepare for the likelihood that it is leukemia and to be prepared to stay 8 weeks.
They are going to be doing some testing on Ella sometime soon(Rachel wasn't sure if it is tomorrow, but thinks it is). They really can use all the prayers and thoughts they can get.
